- Jun 2005 - Listen to our Hearts
What would life be like without friendship? Barren! And
what can nurture friendship better than shared tastes in
music? Very little else! Listen to our Hearts was a celebration
of friendship at a delightful musical evening conceptualized
by SARs* and implemented by THIS (Thanking Him in Song)
with The Bangalore East Mar Thoma Youth. It was an unforgettable
concert on the theme of Music and Friendship. But there
was more to it than that. The proceeds from the event were
donated to the all-important cause of rehabilitating the
victims of HIV-AIDS and the dependents of people with AIDS,
extending the helping hands of friendship to thousands who
are in desperate need of it.

- Sep 2004 - Festival of Harmony
The Glorious Festival of Harmony is one of the most waited
for musical concerts by Bangalore's music lovers. After
over a decade of successfully bringing together music groups
from all over the city and guest performances from out-station
groups, the festival was something THIS (Thanking Him in
Song) was eagerly waiting to be a part of by receiving the
coveted 'invite'. We were invited for and sang at the Festival
of Harmony in 2004. We loved it.
- Feb 2004 - Festival of Songs and Solos
The Second Festival of Songs and Solos was a unique musical
concert which featured Bangalore's favourite soloists coming
together and singing songs of their choice. Click here
to view a write-up about the concert.
- Dec 2003 - Basel Mission 2003 and 2004
The Basel Mission Christian Association of Bangalore conducts
a Festival of Christmas Music every year with the invitation
of various choirs of the city. THIS (Thanking Him in Song)
participated in the years 2003 and 2004, walking away with
the Best Group Award in the year 2004.
- Oct 2003 - Hospice Cancer Concert
The Cancer Concern is an international organization that
works for the cause for cancer patients worldwide. They
organize a bi-ennial concert series with musical concerts
all across the globe at a decided upon local time of the
city chosen to host the concert. In effect, a mexican wave
of Concerts for Cancer sweeps across the world once every
two years. THIS (Thanking Him in Song) was invited to perform
at the concert for 2003. This was infact, our first official
concert as a group.
- Jul 2003 - Yahweh, Hold my Hand
Yahweh, Hold my Hand was the event that started it off for
me in The Bangalore East Mar Thoma Church. I had an idea
for a story based on a compilation of some songs I had written
earlier and so decided to script it as a musical. The proceeds
from this event were used to set up an Education Fund for
underprivileged children. Early morning practices at 6:30
am, brain-storming sessions for script ideas and jumping
head first into event management was all new territory for
me. I would continue to to do just that over the next two
years.
